Calling All Mental Health Bloggers!!

Guest Blogger Series

I want to start a Guest Blogger series tight here on my website on the subject of mental health. If you have something you think you can contribute, I’m interested in publishing it.

So, Got Something to Share?

Whether it's a recovery story, or your experience of living with a mental health problem, or if it's an article about what helps you maintain your mental health, all contributions will be considered. You may have an experience of therapy you'd like to share - good, bad, or mixed.

Anything to do with therapy, therapeutic practices, or mental health is welcome.

Purpose

There are three main reasons I want to do this.

First, to raise awareness of mental health issues and things that help.

Second, to tackle stigma around mental health and counselling/psychotherapy.

And third, to show others that they are not alone in their experiences.

Example Topics

There are a variety of topics that can be cover, including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Self-Esteem

  • Addiction

  • Eating Disorder

  • Mindfulness

  • Spirituality and Mental Health

  • Chronic Pain

  • Experiences of counselling / psychotherapy

  • Anger Management

  • Long-Term Health Conditions

  • Loss & Bereavement

  • Bullying

  • Stigma

  • Any other topic to do with mental health or therapy.

Format

Articles and blogs should be between 750-1500 words, and should focus on just one topic, if possible. Multiple submissions are allowed. You might also want to submit in video format, which is totally fine. Videos should be between 2 to 5 mins. Original authors have the final say on publishing. A link to your social networks, profile and/or website can be included. Authors can remain anonymous if they wish.

What Next?

Fill in the form below to express interest or ask any questions you might have, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
